Charity Cheques is the Charity Services Department of Liverpool Council
of Social Service (LCSS).
The previous Charity Cheques website was constructed
in 2001 before anyone had heard the word 'accessibility' The Disability
Discrimination Act which came to force in October 2004 outlines companies
and organisations responsibilities in respect of their websites.
Now staff can
easily update online information which is presented in a way which conforms
to RNIB and W3C accessibility standards.
